  • Brand strategy and positioning for a clean energy startup concept

  • Development of brand name and core brand narrative

  • Logo design and foundational visual identity system

  • Creation of brand guidelines including typography, color, and tone of voice

  • Campaign ideation and execution centered on the concept

  • Conceptualizing and design of marketing materials including adverts, Instagram posts, and out-of-home mockups

Overview

Wondersun is a conceptual clean energy brand introducing next-generation perovskite solar technology. The goal of this project was to translate a complex, cutting-edge innovation into a brand story that feels accessible, optimistic, and seamlessly integrated into everyday life.

Challenge

Solar technology can often feel distant, technical, or abstract. The challenge was to communicate Wondersun’s breakthrough technology in a way that felt human-scaled, mobile, and intuitive, while positioning the brand as forward-thinking and design-led.

Concept & Approach

The campaign concept, “Take the Sun With You,” reframes solar energy as something personal and portable rather than fixed or industrial. The hero visual features a Wondersun-branded bicycle wrapped with flexible perovskite solar panels, illustrating how energy generation can move with you.

The visual language emphasizes clarity, warmth, and motion. Bold typography and simple, confident messaging were paired with everyday scenarios to demystify the technology and highlight its real-world applications. The out-of-home executions were designed to stop viewers mid-commute, inviting curiosity through unexpected scale and context.

Solution

The final campaign includes out-of-home advertising concepts and supporting brand visuals that position Wondersun as both innovative and approachable. By grounding advanced technology in familiar objects, the brand narrative makes clean energy feel tangible and empowering.

Outcome

This project showcases my ability to build a brand narrative from the ground up, translating technical ideas into compelling visual stories. It reflects a strategic approach to concept development, messaging, and design systems with a strong emphasis on clarity and emotional resonance.
